OVERVIEW

Corporal Donovan is a by-the-book operator known for his precision, discipline and unshakable adherence to command protocol. Enlisting in the Royal Australian Air Force at nineteen, his early service involved supply runs and field coordination during the War in Afghanistan. Unsatisfied with the distance between himself and combat, Donovan requested frontline reassignment. In 2004, he went M.I.A. for twelve days after his convoy was ambushed in Helmand Province. When he resurfaced outside the U.S. Embassy in Kabul, armed only with a combat knife and an empty canteen, his return became the subject of multiple classified investigations. The official report remains sealed. Since the outbreak of the Third World War, Donovan has played a pivotal role in training new Australian recruits for overseas warfare. He was hand-selected to lead Foxtrot Unit, overseeing The Writer Initiative and ensuring the program’s operational integrity. Donovan considers the Initiative an essential weapon if kept under strict supervision.

BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT

Corporal Donovan demonstrates an ingrained distrust of modern technology, occasionally extending to non-combat equipment. This aversion is linked to his twelve-day disappearance in Afghanistan, during which an enemy signal breach resulted in the deaths of several squad members and permeant injury to his brother-in-law. Despite residual trauma indicators, Donovan continues to pass psychological evaluations with distinction. Command notes indicate minor tendencies toward isolation, hyper-vigilance and risk-based decision-making, all considered advantageous under wartime conditions.

STRATEGIC VALUE

Donovan’s leadership ensures Foxtrot Unit remains disciplined and operationally efficient. His influence stabilises the unpredictable dynamics of The Writer Initiative, maintaining loyalty and confidentiality among team members.

Command Recommendation: Continue authorising Donovan full autonomy in the execution and oversight of Foxtrot operations. His authority is vital to preserving structural integrity within the psy-ops division and preventing narrative contamination.
