Private Smuhar was conscripted into service following national mobilisation during the early stages of the Third World War. Initially identified as a candidate with non-combative potential, his unique aptitude for narrative construction, propaganda adaptation and linguistic cohesion made him a key figure in the establishment of ‘The Writer Initiative’.
